The trades I have run a CRM inside
A CRM setup is only as good as the fields and stages it starts with, and those come from the trade. These five are the ones I have operated, not read about.
Answered personally, usually the same day. If a CRM is not what you need, I will say so.
Precious metalsA metals customer is a seller today and a buyer next year. The quote moves with spot. The paperwork is regulated. A generic CRM holds none of that, so the real records live in a ledger and a phone.Luxury retailYour best clients are known by name and remembered by one salesperson. When that person is off, on holiday, or gone, so is the relationship. The CRM is where that memory should live, and in most luxury stores it does not.ConstructionThe estimate is on a legal pad, the schedule is on a whiteboard, and the deposit reminder is the owner remembering on a Sunday. It works until the third crew, and then it does not.Legal servicesA potential client calls three firms. The one that calls back first gets the consult. Meanwhile the intake notes are on a sticky, the conflict check is a memory, and the referral source is a guess at the end of the year.Real estatePortal leads arrive at all hours and go stale in minutes. The ones that do not buy this month buy in nine, and by then nobody remembers them. Agents keep their own lists, and the brokerage owns none of it.
Tell me what is in the way.
One form. Read by the person who would do the work. If a CRM is not the answer, you will hear that first.
