Private-client follow-up that does not depend on one person's memory
Your best clients are known by name and remembered by one salesperson. When that person is off, on holiday, or gone, so is the relationship. The CRM is where that memory should live, and in most luxury stores it does not.
Answered personally, usually the same day. If a CRM is not what you need, I will say so.
- For jewelers, watch dealers, galleries and boutiques.
- An operator who has run a CRM inside this trade
- Fields, stages and follow-up rules specific to it
- Scoped in writing, priced before work starts

What the CRM has to hold in luxury retail
The client record that a salesperson would keep
Purchase history, sizes, anniversaries, what they looked at and did not buy, who their spouse is. Captured at the counter in thirty seconds, because a field nobody fills is a field that does not exist.
In residence, or away
Naples clients leave for six months. A status that says where they are, and a sequence that reaches out in October before they return, is the single most valuable automation in a seasonal store.
Repairs and services as a pipeline
A watch in for service is a deal with stages. Received, quoted, approved, at the workshop, ready, collected. The client gets a text at each one and nobody phones to ask where it is.
Wish lists that turn into calls
When a piece a client asked about arrives, the CRM tells the salesperson the same day. That is the call that closes, and it only happens if the wish was written down.
Asked by luxury retail owners
- Have you done this for a jeweler before?
- Yes. My longest outside engagement is a Naples jeweler, where I have built and run the internal systems for years. The client-record design here comes from that floor.
- Will our salespeople actually use it?
- They will if it takes less time than not using it. The counter capture is built to be faster than a notebook. If it is not, the design is wrong and it gets changed.
- Does it connect to our point of sale?
- Often, yes. It depends on the POS. The data read at the start of the project checks what your POS will share and the setup works from there.

One form. Read by the person who would do the work. If a CRM is not the answer, you will hear that first.
