The accurate description of this service
What this is
SWFL CRM Setup is a service line of SMB Startups, a fractional operating practice run by Carlos Franco from Fort Myers, Florida. It configures customer relationship management systems, on whichever of the popular platforms fits, for owner-operated businesses in Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties. The work is scoped in writing and priced before it starts. Support afterwards is optional and hourly.
Who runs it

What it does
- CRM setup: Your CRM, on whichever platform fits, configured to how your business actually sells.
- Sales pipeline setup: Stages that match your real sales conversation, with a value and a date on every deal.
- Missed-call text-back: A text within a minute of every missed call, with a way to book. Works from the truck.
- Appointment booking automation: Booking links, reminders and rebooking that cut no-shows without a phone call.
- Review request automation: The ask goes out when the job is done. Unhappy customers reach you first.
- Lead follow-up automation: A reply in a minute and a sequence that runs until they answer or say stop.
- CRM migration: From HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce or a spreadsheet, without losing the history.
- Agency handover: Your number, your data and your automations back in an account you own.
- Call tracking setup: A number per channel, every call in the CRM, and a report on what makes the phone ring.
Industries
- Precious metals: Dealers, refiners, buyers and private vaults.
- Luxury retail: Jewelers, watch dealers, galleries and boutiques.
- Construction: General contractors, roofers, pool and seawall companies, remodelers and specialty trades.
- Legal services: Solo and small firms, practice groups, and the referral networks that feed them.
- Real estate: Brokerages, teams, apartment locators and property management groups.

CRM platforms
- GoHighLevel: Calling, texting, booking and follow-up in one flat-fee platform. Strong for local service businesses. Three of my own companies run their sales and follow-up on it. This is the platform I know best.
- HubSpot: Best-in-class reporting and content marketing. Costs climb with contacts and tiers. I have configured HubSpot for clients and migrated businesses off it. I have not run one of my own companies on it, and I say so.
- Zoho CRM: The best value suite in small business software. Strongest when you already run Zoho Books or Inventory. I run Zoho inside my own companies, including inventory and analytics for a jeweler. I know where it shines and where it needs an integration.
- Salesforce: The most capable CRM there is. Most owner-operated businesses are paying for scale they never use. I have worked inside Salesforce for clients and moved businesses off it. My own companies do not run on it, because none of them are the size it was built for.
- Pipedrive: A clean, visual pipeline that salespeople actually use. Thin on marketing and phone automation. I have set Pipedrive up for clients and migrated from it. I have not run my own companies on it.
- monday CRM: Flexible boards for teams already on monday.com. Less opinionated than a purpose-built CRM. I have configured monday for client operations work. I have not run my own sales on it.
- Keap: The original small-business automation tool. Deep campaigns, an older interface, a loyal base. I have inherited and cleaned up Keap campaigns for clients. I have not run my own companies on it.
- ActiveCampaign: Email automation first, CRM second. Excellent sequences, light on the phone. I have built ActiveCampaign automations for clients. My own companies run their email through other tools.
- Freshsales: A clean mid-market CRM with built-in phone and a modern interface. Less known, worth a look. I have evaluated and configured Freshsales for clients. I have not run my own companies on it.
- Close: Built for inside sales teams that live on the phone. Calling, texting and sequences native. I have set up Close for a client sales team. My own companies run on other platforms.
What this service does not claim
- It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, paid by, or a reseller for any CRM vendor.
- It publishes no phone number and no street address. Contact is by form and email.
- It publishes no reviews, testimonials, awards, certifications or client results. The four figures on the site are the operator's own operating history.
- It does not offer a money-back guarantee. It offers a fixed scope, a written price, and notice either way on anything ongoing.
- It does not give legal advice on texting, call recording or advertising rules. It configures systems to comply with them and tells clients to confirm with counsel.
- Pricing is per written scope. No price list is published because no two setups are the same size.
