Freshsales, a clean CRM with the phone built in

Freshsales, from the Freshworks suite, is a well-built CRM that fewer owners have heard of. It has calling built in, a modern interface, and reasonable pricing. It suits a business that wants something more structured than GoHighLevel and less expensive than HubSpot, especially if it already uses Freshdesk for support.

Answered personally, usually the same day. If a CRM is not what you need, I will say so.

  • I have evaluated and configured Freshsales for clients. I have not run my own companies on it.
  • Scoped in writing, priced before work starts
  • Your account, your data, documented as it is built
  • Not affiliated with Freshworks. No resale, no commission.

What Freshsales is good at

First

Built-in phone with call logging and recording.

Second

A modern, fast interface that a small team learns quickly.

Third

Fits with Freshdesk if you run customer support in the same suite.

Where it is the wrong tool

A business that wants funnels, review requests and booking pages in the same tool. Freshsales is a CRM, not a marketing platform, and those pieces come from elsewhere.

Who should pick it

Small and mid-sized businesses with a sales team, especially those already on Freshdesk, and anyone who found HubSpot expensive and GoHighLevel too agency-shaped.

What a Freshsales setup covers

Pipeline and stages, contact and deal fields, the phone setup, email sync, sequences, workflow automations, and the reports. Freshsales rewards a tidy setup and punishes an improvised one less than most.

Asked about Freshsales

Why have I not heard of it?
Freshworks markets to mid-market and support teams more than to local businesses. The product is solid. Awareness is the gap, not capability.
Does it do texting?
SMS is available in current plans. Missed-call text-back is not a native idea the way it is in GoHighLevel and needs a workflow to approximate.
Freshsales or HubSpot?
If you need HubSpot's content tools and reporting, HubSpot. If you need a good sales CRM with the phone built in at a lower cost, Freshsales is a fair answer.

Tell me what is in the way.

One form. Read by the person who would do the work. If a CRM is not the answer, you will hear that first.
